Rachel Legere, along with a fantastic group of TSA women who share a passion for curling—France Isabelle, Sarah Alexander, Joanne Freeze, Jennifer Bruder, Allison Chisholm, Madison Spear, Lana Mouland, and Janice Montieth—spent the afternoon introducing young girls to the sport. They provided hands-on instruction in basic on-ice skills while also highlighting the valuable off-ice lessons and opportunities that come with being part of the curling community.

Girls Rock is a female-led initiative designed to give girls under 18 their first curling experience in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. The event, held in partnership with Curling Canada, aims to inspire confidence and foster a love for the sport.

Here are some moments captured throughout the event—judging by the smiles, it looks like everyone had a fantastic time!
