Speed Of Play

Ready, set, curl!

To help keep our games on time, especially on nights with 2 draws, the Board has approved the following policy.

Teams should be ready to play as soon as the ice is available.

Two hours is scheduled for your game. Eight-end games are not guaranteed. The bell will ring 1 hour and 50 minutes after the scheduled start time. Teams are to complete the end they are in.

Two hours should be plenty of time for 8 ends. If you are having difficulties getting through your game in the allotted timeframe have a look at these ideas for picking up the pace. Slow play is frustrating but easily solved. So let’s all work on keeping our games to 2 hours!
