Meet Our Award Recipients
We are proud to present the distinguished guests attending our closing dinner. These individuals have made remarkable contributions to our club and community.

Terry King
Honorary Member Award
Terry has been a dedicated member of TSA since at least 1973 and has played an important role in the club’s history. He was involved in the early days of the Riverboat Classic Bonspiel, serving as Riverboat Captain #8, and many years on its organizing committee.
While not curling this season, Terry remains a familiar and welcome presence at the club—often cheering on friends and family or enjoying a game of cards.
Thank you, Terry, for your decades of commitment and for continuing to be such a valued supporter of TSA.

Harry McDougall
Legacy Award
Harry’s impact on TSA through stick curling is truly remarkable. From launching the Friday Night Stick League to helping grow multiple leagues and events—including the Monday Stick League, stick cash spiel, and the new Sturling Cup—his efforts have created a thriving and sustainable program.
Harry has also brought Provincial and Maritime Stick events to TSA, with sights set even higher for the future. His leadership has made TSA a model for other clubs across the region.
Thank you, Harry, for building a legacy that continues to grow.

Charlene Copeland
Legacy Award
Charlene’s impact on TSA has been both visible and invaluable. From co-leading the Sunday Doubles League to supporting IT systems and club operations, her contributions have touched nearly every aspect of the club.
As the web developer and driving force behind the new TSA website, Charlene led its transformation into a modern, user-friendly platform—donating countless hours of professional expertise. She also created and managed the TSA Lotto, generating significant revenue for the club, along with her signature weekly updates that many looked forward to.
Charlene’s dedication, creativity, and generosity have left a lasting legacy. She will be greatly missed as she and Steve begin their next chapter out west.

Steve Copeland
Legacy Award
Steve’s contributions to TSA span countless areas and have had a lasting impact on how our club operates today. Alongside Charlene, he helped establish and maintain the Sunday Doubles League, including hands-on involvement with ice maintenance.
Steve has been instrumental in supporting Curling IO, assisting with IT systems and accounting integration, setting up league schedules on the in-club displays, organizing volunteer schedules, and supporting membership sign-ups and communications.
His behind-the-scenes work has been essential to the club’s success. As Steve prepares to relocate west, we thank him sincerely for everything he has given to TSA.
